Ubisys ensures reliable transmission through a software client installed on the mobile device or PC called PenPusher. PenPusher will take the form from the pen regardless of its state of connectivity - e.g if the user was out of a GPRS signal area. If PenPusher has a GPRS signal it will send automatically, if not it will store and forward on seeing a signal. PenPusher also provides a friendly user interface and feedback mechanism to the user. For instance on the successful completion of a form or even delivery of a form to the portal a message can be sent to the user. These can be tailor made to include intelligent feedback depending on what has been ticked on the form such as local validation of the form, inform the user of incomplete sections, or to attach images or sound clips to a form before submission.
